Chinatown Detective Agency is a premium adventure title for PC developed by General Interactive Co. It's a point-and-click game set in the near future that features cyberpunk themes. In it, players run a detective agency that solves cases while trying to unravel a global conspiracy.

Chinatown Detective Agency bears resemblance to classic detective adventure titles like Blade Runner for its presentation. It boasts retro pixel graphics to go with its intriguing noir narrative and problem-solving mechanics and gameplay. The decisions and actions players make will also have an effect on how the game will progress and unfold.

Run your own detective agency

Chinatown Detective Agency is the Lion City, Singapore, in the near future of 2032. You play as Amira Darma, a once-rising star in the INTERPOL, now operating as a private investigator in the center of Chinatown. Your journey will take you all over the globe as you take on various cases and slowly untangle a web of conspiracies that threatens the already fragile state of your city.

In this game, time is precious, and its misuse can result in unknown consequences. You'll need to put it to good use as you rely on your quick smarts and intuition to help you through your job. Meet contacts, establish an information network, and even hire a few able people to take on cases simultaneously and build a reputation for your agency.

You'll get to do plenty of exploring in the game, too as it offers over 30 unique locations that were intricately designed by digital artist, Ricardo Juchem, who specializes in creating pixel art. There's no denying that cyberpunk themes and noir thrillers go well together, and Chinatown Detective Agency is a great example of how to meld the two concepts together and create something rather unique.
